Creating Your Store

When you first log into HytalePay, you'll be guided through a simple 5-step wizard to create your store.

Step 1: Store Name

Enter a name for your store. This will be displayed to your customers and used to generate your store URL.

• Minimum 3 characters required
• Choose something memorable that represents your server

Step 2: Branding

Add personality to your store with:

• Slogan: A short tagline (max 100 characters) that appears below your store name
• Description: A longer description (max 500 characters) explaining what your store offers

Step 3: Currency

Select your default currency for all products:

• USD - US Dollars
• EUR - Euros

All product prices will be displayed in this currency.

Step 4: PayPal Configuration

Connect your PayPal Business account to accept payments. You'll need:

• Client ID: Your PayPal application's client ID
• Client Secret: Your PayPal application's secret key

Step 5: Success!

Your store is now created. You'll see quick links to:

• Add your first products
• Configure PayPal (if skipped)
• View your dashboard

After creating your store, you should:

1. Create categories to organize your products
2. Add products to sell
3. Customize your branding to match your server's style
4. Enable test mode to test the checkout flow
