Categories

Organize your products with categories.

Categories help organize your products and make it easier for customers to find what they're looking for.

Creating a Category

  1. Go to Categories in your dashboard
  2. Click Add Category
  3. Enter a Category Name
  4. Choose whether the category is Exclusive
  5. Click Create

Exclusive Categories

The Exclusive option is important for certain product types:

Standard Categories

  • Customers can add multiple items from this category to their cart
  • Good for: Cosmetics, consumables, bundles

Exclusive Categories

  • Customers can only have one item from this category in their cart
  • Adding a new item automatically replaces the previous one
  • Good for: Ranks, subscriptions, or any mutually exclusive items
Example: If you have Bronze, Silver, and Gold ranks, make them an exclusive category. When a customer adds Gold to their cart, it will replace any existing rank they had selected.

Managing Categories

Viewing Categories

Your categories are displayed in a table showing:

  • Category name
  • Category ID
  • Type (Standard or Exclusive)

Use the search bar to filter categories by name.

Editing Categories

  1. Click the Edit button on a category
  2. Update the name or exclusive setting
  3. Click Save

Deleting Categories

  1. Click the Delete button on a category
  2. Confirm the deletion
You cannot delete a category that has products assigned to it. Remove or reassign the products first.

Best Practices

  • Use clear names: "VIP Ranks" is better than "Ranks1"
  • Group related items: Keep similar products together
  • Use exclusive wisely: Only for truly mutually exclusive items
  • Plan ahead: Think about your product structure before creating categories
